In a recent interview on the Leadership Lowdown Podcast by Michigan Business Network, Mike Ramsby, Founder and President of GRA Benefits Group shared lessons from his path to leadership.

“To truly be an expert in that and to succeed, you really need to know why… If you don’t get to the root of it, you may not fully answer the question,” he said. “What keeps them up at night? What are their critical issues?”

Caring customer service with open-ended solutions is a philosophy that all business leaders should follow.

“It is one thing to provide customer service, it’s another to do it in a caring manner,” said Mike. “If you’re asking the why, being honest, and seeing it from their shoes, you’re going to get a robust picture and you’re going to provide a robust solution.”
